What the waitlist collects

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. Spaces around the address are removed and it is saved in lowercase. The waitlist record includes an identifier and a signup timestamp. Repeated signups with the same normalized address do not create another entry.

The form does not ask for your name, income, county, court dates, case documents, or practice answers. Please do not submit private case information through the waitlist.

Why we collect it

The purpose of the waitlist is to contact you when Unshaken is ready. Signing up is not an account, a purchase, confirmation of free-access eligibility, or a request for legal representation. This website currently saves signups; it does not provide an automated email campaign or unsubscribe tool.

Storage and access

Waitlist emails are stored in Lovable Cloud. The signup service can save an address, but visitors cannot read or browse the subscriber list. Authorized administrative access is separate from visitor access.

The current signup flow does not sell emails or send them to lawyers, courts, or referral partners. Hosting and cloud providers process information needed to operate the website. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Technical information and external services

Hosting and diagnostic services may process request and error information, such as network addresses, browser details, pages requested, and technical error reports. This helps operate and troubleshoot the website. Diagnostic information may include a page URL or error message.

The site loads fonts and some images from external providers, which receive the requests needed to deliver those files. The waitlist itself does not need an account or an advertising cookie. Platform-level logging or analytics may operate separately; their full settings and retention have not been verified.

Links to Michigan courts, legal aid, and other organizations take you to independent websites. Their own privacy notices apply. Unshaken does not receive what you enter on those websites through these links.

Retention and privacy requests: details awaiting confirmation

Email records are currently kept in the private waitlist; this site does not implement automatic expiry or a self-service deletion tool. A retention schedule and a dedicated contact for access, correction, deletion, and withdrawal requests have not yet been finalized.

The operator’s legal identity, privacy-request contact, request-handling process, and provider retention details need confirmation. They will be added here when established. These unresolved details should be settled before launch emails are sent.

Future changes

If accounts, case uploads, recordings, AI practice, referrals, or payments are introduced, this notice will need to explain their data handling before those features are offered. This notice does not promise confidentiality protections for services that are not currently available.
